One thing I pride myself in is making great decisions, and making them quickly at that. I wasn’t always that way. When I was pregnant, it would take me days upon days of research to pick the perfect diaper bag that I would enjoy for a long time. I probably spent a good 40 hours obsessing over choosing the brand and design pattern. Today, I can walk into a store and quickly pick out what I know works for me. And one thing is for sure, I never ever settle. If an item doesn’t give me great joy or serve a high purpose, then it doesn’t enter my life.
The time that I save with making quick decisions gives me great peace. I am confident in my choices and my energy is not being wasted going back and forth on things.
There are two ingredients required in the art of decision-making: clarity and intuition.
You must know exactly what you are looking for AND you must listen to your intuition. My favorite essential oils to use for clarity and heightened intuition include: Lemon, Douglas Fir, and Clary Sage. This is a great combination to put in a diffuser.
- 3 Lemon
- 2 Douglas Fir
- 1 Clary Sage
Diffuse all day long for 3 days. And do not diffuse past 5pm. You do not have to be present around the diffuser for the entire day in order for it to work. As long as it is diffusing in your home, it is shifting the energy in your home. Of course if is preferable to be present when this blend is diffusing. So you can turn this on in an 8 hour diffuser before you head out to work. The reason why we don’t want to diffuse past 5pm is because we don’t want your mind too stimulated before bed. It’s important to wind down at the end of the day so you can sleep deeply.
Lemon- Cleans out the clutter and distractions in your mind. It also helps you be laser focused, so you can quickly dissect a pro/con list for each decision.
Douglas Fir- Provides wisdom and understanding. Douglas Fir shows you exactly what you do need and what you don’t need.
Clary Sage- Improves your abilities to listen to your intuition. Your body and spirit will tell you instantly if an item, an organization, or even going to a birthday party is a healthy choice or not. You’ll find yourself having more “gut feelings” that are super strong, so that making the decision to say yes or no is clearly evident.
